BCANDS Programs and Services

BCANDS currently provides services in three core areas:

 1)     Disability Case Management (DCM)

BCANDS DCM services are available to any Indigenous individual residing within British Columbia regardless of age, community, location, disability condition or disability assistance required. BCANDS DCM services works with hundreds of individuals, families and organizations annually.  2)     Disability Persons with Disabilities / Monthly Nutritional Supplement (PWD / MNS)  

BCANDS PWD / MNS Adjudication services are provided to British Columbia's 203 First Nation communities. BCANDS receives and adjudicates all PWD and MNS benefit applications for BC's First Nations and approves or denies requests based on Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) - BC Region's Policy and eligibility requirements. The BCANDS PWD / MNS program maintains over 7,000 client files. 3)     First Nation Health Information, Resources and Support  (HIRS)

BCANDS HIRS services are available to British Columbia's 203 First Nation Communities.   BCANDS provides health related information, resources and other health related assistance, at no charge to First Nation communities or departments requesting assistance.
